Mission: To be a port to generate economic development in their area of influence, providing port services to consolidate the activities offshore oil industry and opening the port to commercial and industrial activities.
To achieve this Mission has established strategic objectives for business lines such as:
- Incorporate appropriate efficient port services and insurance
- Increasing and improving port and related services in the commercial area
- Provide efficient port services, timely and safe in monobuoys
- Areas available for the installation of port-minded companies
- Secure investment for the maintenance of port infrastructure required supply terminal
- Secure investment for the development and maintenance of port infrastructure required by the Commercial area
- Securing investment for urban infrastructure development requires industrial park
