The two cargo reception and handling marine terminals of the Port of Dos Bocas reported positive numbers in the first quarter of 2013, considering cargo operations and vessel arrivals, in comparative with the same period of 2012.

Multipurpose Terminal, which conducted commercial operations and foreign trade of bulk and general cargo, represents the most significant cargo increase, with a 133% (58,594 tons), highlighting products such as raw sugar, pet coke and liquid asphalt.

The Supply Terminal ruled by Pemex, is focused in the logistics supply to the offshore oil industry, reported an increase of 14.12% compared with the same period of last year, with 572,160 cargo tons, basically of raw materials, equipments, chemicals and specialized tools.

Regarding crude oil exportation in the monobuoys area, the first quarter register a total number of 1,002,295 tons with 13 arrivals of ship tankers.

The Federal Government investments on infrastructure contribute to generate better marine operation conditions, increasing port services through their demand in the Gulf of Mexico.
