Dragados / Swiber joint venture begin the logistics for the construction of 77km of marine pipeline
The Dragados Offshore / Swiber Offshore joint venture, starts operations for the construction project of 47.84 miles submarine pipeline, that will connect the oil rig “Enlace Litoral” with the PEMEX Terminal within the Port of Dos Bocas, selecting the Multipurpose Terminal to develop both offshore and inland logistics.

The construction project, estimated in $ 250 million of dollars, get started on friday august 24, 2012, with the arrival of the semi-submersible vessel Zhen Hua 28, which arrived in the Port anchorage area, shipping two marine construction specialized barges with a length of 524 and 426 feet respectively, and 2 supplier vessels, operating as logistical support.

The Port´s Multipurpose Terminal will provide assistance in: port services, bunker, water, tugboats, maneuvering and storage yards for pipe and equipment, specialized maneuvers through authorized port vendors; on an estimated project run of three months.
With the development of this project, the Port of Dos Bocas is positioned as a key link for large projects, strengthening the specialization of the national oil industry.
