The channel has a total length of 2,200 meters on average, with a depth of -10.00 m at sea level and a width in the template of 325 meters at the entrance, gradually reduced to 125 meters in the area of the curve and 100 meters in the final straight section.

Turning Basin TERMINAL DE USOS MULTIPLES

This basin is situated opposite the pier of the TUM. In 2008 it expanded its depth of -9.50 m and a diameter of 380 meters to allow access for vessels up to 20,000 dwt.

WEST SIDE CANAL

Is located southwest of the TUM, generates waterfronts for the activities of construction and repair of ships and oil platforms.

ACCESS TO THE SUPPLY TERMINAL

Built in 1985, was expanded in 2004 to staff its width 70 meters and 8 meters deep at the levels of the sea. It has a length of 2,700 meters, began as an offshoot of the channel access to the shopping area, with a length of 1.770 meters in the direction of entry S60^o 12' 46E.

Turning Basin SUPPLY TERMINAL

It is located east of the port, is formed by a Turning Basin at the end of the channel that has an area of 128.700 m², ciaboga diameter of 300 meters and a minimum depth of -9 m at sea level.
